This accommodation can lodge up to four adults (or six in case of a family with children). A baby cot and baby seat are available free of charge. The double bed in the bedroom can be separated into two individual beds. The lodging has double-glass windows and is noise insulated. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath. The space is convenient for all kind of guests, whether you are individuals, couple with or without children or businessman. This is a strictly non-smoking lodging.
The accommodation is located on the first floor (one floor above ground floor) of a typical building that is under the protection of the Amsterdam Monument List and was totally renovated and furnished in 2008 and meets all safety standards. The staircase is steep but straight like most staircases in old Amsterdam buildings. There is free WiFi and a computer available.
The accommodation is located in the very lively and trendy “Oud West – De Hallen” quarter. There are many shops (including a supermarket within two minutes walk), boutiques, bars, restaurants and an open-air market in the area. The Vondelpark is just around corner. It is a nice stroll through the park to reach the Leidseplein area or the Rijksmuseum. You will also find in the park some terrace cafes, the Film Museum and free concerts during the Summer period. Public transportation is in front of the apartment. It takes only 10 to 15 minutes to get from the lodging to the major tourist attractions like the Leidseplein Entertainment Area, Dam Square, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and much more. Travel time from the airport to reach the apartment is about 40 minutes by public transportation or 20 minutes by taxi.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary equipment and utensils. Two different coffee machines: Nespresso and Senseo. Dish washing machine. Fruit squeezer. Electric kettle, and more. A supply of amenities is provided like coffee and tea, sugar salt and pepper, cooking oil, etc. Tap water is totally drinkable.
The bedroom has one large size box spring bed that may be divided into two one-person beds. Bed linen is provided. The room is equipped with: large storage cabinet, two small bed cabinets with reading lights, side tables, radio alarm clock, make-up mirror, flat-screen television. The bathroom is equipped with a Jacuzzi bathtub, separate washing tap, washing machine. Towels, soap, shampoo and washing detergent are provided. There are clothes drying racks available.
The use or introduction of any tobacco or drugs is strictly forbidden and it will result in immediate expulsion without the right of any refund or compensation. It is not allowed to receive any visitors without informing and approval by owner. A damage deposit of € 100.00 may be required for all guests but is standard if the occupancy is more than 2 persons. This deposit can be paid either in cash or by PayPal.
The lodging can have 5 guests under the condition that at least two people share one sofa bed. The bed arrangement would be: two individual beds in the bedroom, two sofa beds (140x200) in the living room one of which to be shared by two persons.
There is no extra mattress or cot bed available.
