The ship is docked in a scenic spot in Amsterdam North just across the River Ij from Amsterdam central Statio, with a free ferry to the centre within walking distance.
The area has become something of a cultural hotspot in recent years with a variety of cafes, restaurants, coffee shop and festivals taking place throughout the year.
